12/8/2023 0 Comments Best samsung equalizer settings![]() Overall I'm pretty happy with these settings. Maybe their panel had a red push and it was toned down in ICC, maybe their gamma was higher than yours etc. Color profiles are panel specific, and it generally isn't recommended to use someone elses. I'd also recommend deleting RTINGs color profile. Gamma Mode 2 as it falls closer to SRGB using the Eizo Monitor Test. Looks great in games like Elden Ring that I can't get working well with HDR. A little unorthodox maybe, but according to my testing, even in SDR with Local Dimming on, my panel hits a few nits over 600. ![]() In certain games that I can't get HDR working well, I force Local Dimming on and run it in SDR. It changes brightness levels and I find it really odd. I would highly recommend turning dynamic contrast off. Yes I know it isn't specifically color accurate, no I don't care LOL. My settings are tuned a little bit to make the image pop some more. That being said, with no IPS glow and better blacks, I am very happy with mine. I generally find IPS's to be better in that department. To be honest I've never been BLOWN AWAY with the color reproduction. Im using another G5 as a second monitor btw. So any recommendations about possibly better settings? Im kinda happy with the results, only negative point I got is the flickering without VRR enabled, which is a HUGE amount, almost permanently. Max FPS "235" / GSYNC "ON" / Colours default settings (Brightness "50" / Contrast "50" / Gamma "1.00" / Digital Colour Correction "50" ![]() Sharpness "56" / Black Equalizer "13" / Brightness "100" / Colour mode "Custom" / Contrast "70" / RGB "45:48:50" / Gamma Mode "1" / Adaptive Sync "ON" / VRR "ON" / Local Dimming "Auto" / Auto Contrast "OFF" Colour Profile from "" > although I dont seem to see any difference between this and the standard Windows profiles But please the full package from monitor OSD Settings to Nvidia Control Panel and Windows colour profiles. I would like to hear a few opinions about the settings that you guys use. It was possible to terminate the flickering with a software update which unlocked the VRR-setting in the monitor settings. So far Im really liking the colours, the bretter brightness, the great response time / input lag and the 240 Hz (yes, I see a little difference compared to the 144 Hz G5).īut I also came across a popular problem with the monitor that is flickering. I recently upgraded my G5 to a G7 (27") because I got one for 340$ (new). I know its probably the 101th thread about it but I couldn't find a opinion matching thread yet.
